We use the information we collect to respond to your enquiries, provide and improve our SalesPort platform services, send you updates about our services (with your consent), and comply with legal obligations.

Each client receives a dedicated database and server. Your data is never shared or mixed with other clients. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information.

4. Location Data

Our mobile app collects precise location data (GPS coordinates including latitude, longitude, accuracy, and heading) to enable employee attendance verification, field activity tracking, and beat plan validation.

Location data is collected:

  • In the foreground while the app is in use;
  • In the background via a persistent foreground service during active work hours (auto-stops after 9 PM);
  • Continuously at regular intervals (approximately every 10–20 seconds) when attendance is active.

This data is transmitted to our servers and may be stored locally on the device for offline synchronisation. Location tracking is controlled by your organisation's administrator and is tied to attendance check-in/check-out. Mock/fake location detection is used to ensure data integrity.

Users can manage location permissions through their device settings. Background location access requires explicit user consent.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including satisfying legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

Location data is retained on our servers as long as required by your organisation for operational purposes.
